Arnaud Maton — E-commerce entrepreneur and founder of AMZ Seller Consulting
Arnaud Maton is a Belgian entrepreneur active in e-commerce and Amazon arbitrage. An Amazon seller since 2018, he founded AMZ Seller Consulting, an organization dedicated to supporting Amazon sellers.
In brief: Arnaud Maton is a Belgian entrepreneur involved in e-commerce, Amazon selling, and Amazon arbitrage.
His path follows a precise timeline: automotive mechanics, Amazon selling from 2018, creation of a community in 2022, then the development of AMZ Seller Consulting.
Who is Arnaud Maton?
Arnaud Maton is a Belgian entrepreneur specializing in e-commerce and selling on Amazon. His background is closely tied to Amazon arbitrage, a model that involves identifying products that can be purchased from suppliers or distributors and then resold on Amazon when price, demand, margin, and compliance conditions allow.
Before developing AMZ Seller Consulting, Arnaud first built his own experience as an Amazon seller. This timeline matters: his support business came after several years of hands-on experience as a seller, rather than being launched without prior field experience.
Arnaud now lives in Sicily, in the Cefalù area near Palermo, while continuing his e-commerce activities and support for Amazon sellers.
Before Amazon: a background in automotive work
Before e-commerce, Arnaud worked in automotive mechanics for about fifteen years. He worked as a mechanic, ran his own garage, and bought and resold vehicles.
This period gave him his first concrete entrepreneurial experience: running a business, customer relations, operational organization, daily responsibilities, and decision-making. It also led him to carry out major mechanical work, including complete engine rebuilds.
This automotive background is not the central focus of his current work, but it explains part of his path: before Amazon, Arnaud was already working in environments where operational rigor, cost analysis, and practical business management are essential.

The search for a model less dependent on his time
Through his various businesses, Arnaud Maton gradually looked for a business model less dependent on his constant personal involvement.
Alongside his automotive work, he also explored a snack bar/fry shop, various complementary entrepreneurial activities, and the rental of small equipment and certain vehicles.
These experiences also showed him the limits of highly operational business models. As activities accumulate, management becomes more demanding: teams, execution quality, delegation, daily follow-up, unexpected events, and responsibilities.
Accumulating several activities eventually had the opposite effect of what he wanted: more responsibilities, longer days, and less time for his personal life.
It was in this context that he discovered Amazon arbitrage.
2018: Discovering Amazon arbitrage
In 2018, Arnaud Maton opened his first Amazon seller account and began Amazon arbitrage alongside his other activities.
The model caught his attention for one specific reason: with Amazon FBA, a significant part of logistics operations can be handled by Amazon’s infrastructure, including storage, preparation, and order fulfillment.
This does not mean Amazon arbitrage is a passive activity. The model requires work, analysis, sourcing, inventory management, compliance, and a precise understanding of Amazon fees. But it separates business growth more clearly from personally carrying out every logistics task.
From initial results to the transition to Amazon
By the third month, his Amazon arbitrage business was generating approximately €1,500 in net profit for the month.
For Arnaud, these initial results were primarily a catalyst: they showed him that an e-commerce business structured around Amazon could become a serious path for a career transition.
The transition then happened gradually. The snack bar/fry shop was sold quickly, while the exit from the garage was more gradual because it was a larger operation.
2018 to 2022: Growth as an Amazon seller
Between 2018 and 2022, he developed his Amazon seller business.
This period came before the creation of his community and seller-support activity. It is therefore an important part of understanding his positioning: Arnaud did not begin by selling a course; he first built his own experience as an Amazon seller.
2022: Creating a community of Amazon sellers
In 2022, Arnaud created a community around selling on Amazon and Amazon arbitrage.
Originally, this community was not designed as a simple training product. Its primary aim was to bring sellers together, enable discussion, share experiences, solve practical challenges, and benefit from collective experience.
In the following months, some members began reaching out directly to Arnaud for help growing their business. The first support services gradually emerged from this community dynamic.
From community to seller support
The seller-support activity gradually grew out of needs expressed by members of his community.
Sellers discovering Amazon arbitrage often face similar challenges: product selection, understanding fees, actual profitability, sourcing, brand restrictions, logistics organization, risk management, and consistency in execution.
AMZ Seller Consulting was developed with this goal in mind: helping sellers better understand the model, structure their approach, and avoid common mistakes.

Today, Arnaud continues his work in e-commerce, Amazon selling, and seller support.
His work focuses in particular on Amazon arbitrage, product analysis, sourcing, understanding fees, using specialized tools, and putting more structured operations in place for sellers.
